"Today I Rise"

I know that it sounds kind of corny and a cliche of a title but today I really do rise! There has been so many issues going on in my life from husband to children issues that really made me feel like just giving up on ALL my dreams and desires in life.  Just felt so inadequate because of the flaws in my life and others.  I don't know if you who is reading this post have children but raising young adults can really push your stress level to an all time high.  I know that God is faithful and with him all things can be resolved and worked out so that's why I am able to type today that I rise.  I rise above the storms to gain my sanity back and focus on the things that mean so much to me at this time in my life.

I just had a birthday and I really enjoyed the things that I did by myself because those that claim they love me did not really give me the things I desired.  So! I had to treat myself like the princess that I am.  Life has had its ups and downs and disappointments to say the least.  I've desired to have so many things some I received and some things I am still waiting on.  But in all of the test and trials I decided not to dwell on those things and embrace where I am today in life.  And where I am today I am ENJOYING IT!!

Oh how I am enjoying me today! In life if you don't care about yourself know one will.  So on that note let me share some pictures of the places I have ventured these past few months.

I am learning to enjoy the view from where I am.

And where I am is traveling the world for example:

                                                                 I visited Georgia!
"Me" @ The Martin Luther King Monument
                                                             Zena, Me (Vera) & Elisia

At the Old Home of Dr. Martin Luther King

I went to see Joyce Meyers in Hershey PA

                                                             Me & Teresa
Stayed at the Showboat in Atlantic City
                                                  Visited Fredericksburg, VA Historical Sites

Had a great time this past summer and I expect to continue to enjoy the view from my eyes...
