In the Dark

I ventured out for the first time today since Sandy the Hurricane hit our state of New Jersey.  There are so many people still without power and lights.  Wow was I in the dark about what is going on around me. 

I went to the grocery store and there was empty space in the poultry section.  Bread was limited and lots of things were missing.  I was told some people wont have power and lights til mid November.

Oh my! I want to say God is good to me because we have power and I am able to cook my husband some dinner.

Juicing saga continues

Juicing

Okay, today is the second day of my juice fast.  I tried juicing before and I felt awesome but I didnt juice correctly so I became very weak.  However, I decided to try it again for a lifestyle change considering I have put on some extra weight. 

Second usually brings challenges like the smell of foods.  Ugh! That's the hardest part but when I think about the excess weight I am encouraged to not give up.

Well again juicing will give me a good start to healthy living its just the view from my eyes.

It was a very scary experience.  But thank God for his mercy.  I have never seen so many places of business so deserted.

Things Could Always Be Worst

Over the past couple of months it appeared as if I had a shield over my eyes.  Everything in my environment seemed to be such a mess and disappointment.  But as I began to share my inner most feelings about family issues other people stated they would love to trade what I thought was a bad situation.  So at the end of this day as it is around 12:29 am I come to the conclusion that things could really be worst.  Some people wish they had children to complain about and a husband to get on their nerves so things are looking pretty good according to the view from my eye's.

Good night and count your blessings for the life you have! 

 

No More Fog

I can truly see clearly today and I just want to celebrate Freedom!  The freedom to say no to people when needed.  What a day of liberation.  So now its time to do some cleaning and deleting.  Oh yes! The view looks real clear to me from my eye's

"Today I Rise"

I know that it sounds kind of corny and a cliche of a title but today I really do rise! There has been so many issues going on in my life from husband to children issues that really made me feel like just giving up on ALL my dreams and desires in life.  Just felt so inadequate because of the flaws in my life and others.  I don't know if you who is reading this post have children but raising young adults can really push your stress level to an all time high.  I know that God is faithful and with him all things can be resolved and worked out so that's why I am able to type today that I rise.  I rise above the storms to gain my sanity back and focus on the things that mean so much to me at this time in my life.

I just had a birthday and I really enjoyed the things that I did by myself because those that claim they love me did not really give me the things I desired.  So! I had to treat myself like the princess that I am.  Life has had its ups and downs and disappointments to say the least.  I've desired to have so many things some I received and some things I am still waiting on.  But in all of the test and trials I decided not to dwell on those things and embrace where I am today in life.  And where I am today I am ENJOYING IT!!

Oh how I am enjoying me today! In life if you don't care about yourself know one will.  So on that note let me share some pictures of the places I have ventured these past few months.
